Electronic Portfolios
Portfolios have for a very long time be a popular assignment in the teaching of languages and cultures as they allow for a holistic assessment of a student learning outcomes. It also provides a way for students to take ownership of their learning by creating a personal product where they can focus on their interests and reflect on both the cultural and linguistic aspect of their learning. E-portfolios also have the practical application of potentially being used as part of the application process to a job or internship.
